Mamledar Misal-Spicing up the City

Mamledar Misal opened in 1952, is one of the best Misal in the city and anyone who has tried it will completely agree. The owner Mr.Damodar Murdeshwar is the third family generation, taking this brand to new heights.

What is Misal Pav?
It is a popular Maharashtra regional snack. It is made up of spicy curry (sometimes mixed with pulses) on mash potato, topped with onions, farsan and sev and usually served with Pav/Bread.
However, there are various versions of it as per regional changes.

Mamledar Misal serves misal in 3 spice level less, medium and thikkat/spicy (good luck with that).
They have made this dish perfect as flavors and spice goes hand in hand.
Even though your mouth is on fire, you still want to eat more of it. Yeah!

Experience eating at their small place, waiting in the long queue, sharing the tables with others, meanwhile, your are sweating; taste buds are tingling with spicy sensation and in middle of the chaos going on inside with constant orders churned out.
It’s just crazy!
The best thing I learned to do (if you have spice threshold) order a medium misal and thikkat rassa/tari separately.
Chilled Buttermilk is just a must. Trust me you’ll need it.

With the popularity growing, now they have opened up 16 outlets across Mumbai and food delivery collaborations like Swiggy etc. helps the brand to reach more folks with their delicious dishes.
Besides misal pav you do get sandwiches, different kinds of bhajji , vada pav etc.
