Palak Paneer and Pakoda Recipe

Palak Paneer Recipe

Ingredient :
1 bunch Spinach , Oil ,
1 tsp Jeera , 1 tsp Rai , pinch of Hing ,
1 Onion, 1/2 tsp Haldi, 1 tsp Lal Mirch Powder ,
1 tsp normal Masala , Paneer (cottage cheese) (100 g)

Prep :
1. Blanch Palak in hot water for 5 min .
2. Drain Palak and do not throw away the water , we’ll require if after and it has nutrients as well .
3. Grind the drained Palak to fine paste.
4. Heat 2 tsp Oil , add Jeera , Rai and Hing and Mix it well .
5. Add chopped Onion , Haldi , Lal Mirch Powder and Masala. Mix it well .
6. Add Palak’s paste , add some vegetable stock and salt to taste.
7. Add Paneer to the gravy .
8. Boil for 5-7 min and Serve it hot.

Palak Pakoda ( Spinach Fritters) Recipe :

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup Besan (Gram Flour),
1/2 tsp of Haldi , Lal Mirch Powder , Ova (Ajwain) , Masala
Palak Leaves , Oil ,Salt

Prep:
1. Take Besan , add Haldi , Lal Mirch Powder , crushed Ova (Ajwain) ,Masala and salt to taste . Mix it well
2. Add water little by little and continue mixing it to avoid lumps .
3. Check out video for consistency of the batter .
4. Dip Palak Leaves into the batter and drop in piping hot Oil .
5. Fry them on Medium Heat for more crunchiness.
6. Scoop them up , let them rest on tissue for extracting extra oil from Pakoda and then Serve.
