This is how we roll- A Sushi chef

Hello Guppy , the Japanese restaurant owned by Olive Group & Kitchen in BKC created quite a buzz around.
You get teleport to Japan once you enter in the restro. It had amazing interior by Anshu Arora Sen with all Japanese vibe plus playing Pokemon on flat screen already won my heart. They got Legos and Action Figures too !!
Getting  a table at the Sushi bar was a treat as you can see the chefs working their magic.

After we pleased our  eyes its time to please the belly with some Japanese food .
We had Spicy Salmon Roll , Prawns Tempura Roll with white/normal rice and Spicy Tuna Roll in Black rice (with is supposed to be healthy).
They do charge ₹49 extra for black rice though.

Sushi Fact : Its misconception that sushi is all  about fish being fresh but its about how the rice is cooked.

We ordered Edamame with Sea Salt which is basically immature Soyabean pod steamed and salted till we get out of sushi coma , so simple but tasty.

Then comes the Udon Noodles my personal favorite dish of that day; best noodles i have ever tasted till date. These are flat wheat flour noodles tossed with vegetables , mushrooms and black pepper.
They got three types udon noodles of it Exotic Mushrooms, Chicken Karaage and Prawns Karaage .

The meal is never finished without dessert so here comes Chocolate Fondant which is Hot chocolate cake filled with gooey chocolate and served with cheesecake ice-cream with almond drizzle.
‘How was it ?’ Well let just say the plate was squeaky clean when we left.

We did try Elderflower Forest Presse’ fruittea (mix of blueberries,passion fruit, elderflower and some fizz).

The staff and the service is on point. They are happy to give you more insight of what the dishes are about .
I was bit surprised to see they do have serve Jain version of Japanese food!

We could have so much to get out belly full but they do have much more in their food and beverage menu. Happy hours from 6pm to 8pm .
